The price of corrugated paper adjusted by 13.66% in early February and pulp increased by 42.57%
On February 19, the statistics bureau’s monitoring of market prices of 50 important means of production in nine categories in the country’s circulation sector showed that prices of 23 products rose in the first half of February 2021 compared with late January, 23 fell and four were unchanged.
In the field of forest products, the price of pulp rose by 202.0 yuan, or 3.6%, in early February compared with late January. Corrugated paper prices rose 24.4 yuan, or 0.6%.
Corrugated paper, compared with the price of 3545.5 yuan/ton in the first ten days of February 2020, an increase of 484.4 yuan, a year-on-year increase of 13.66%.
For pulp, the price increased by 1,714.4 yuan, or 42.57 percent year-on-year, compared with 4,027.7 yuan per ton in the first ten days of February 2020
